PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

April 13, 2017

Parents, students, and community members,

Spring has brought a lot of change here at Peru High School.  It is with a heavy heart that my family and I will be leaving Peru at the end of the school year.  I have been offered a wonderful job that I could not turn down: I will be the new Principal at Greenfield - Central High School just east of Indianapolis.  It was a very difficult decision for me and my family: we love Peru and we have had a wonderful 7 years here.  I am going to miss the kids, the teachers, and everyone else who I have had the privilege to work with.  Peru is a special place, and I consider myself lucky to have lead such a wonderful building.

With that being said, PHS will be in great hands next year.  Mr Frye, current Principal at Elmwood (and former PHS Assistant Principal) will be returning to PHS to be the new Principal.  Mr. Frye will be an exceptional leader for the teachers and the kids.  I can't think of a better person to take my place.  Peru High School will be a better place with Mr. Frye leading them.

Many people have asked me how much longer I will be here.  I plan on being here in this office until Commencement on June 9th.  I plan on enjoying my last few months here with all the wonderful people in this building.  Unfortunately, it will go faster than I want.  I wish everyone here nothing but the best of luck after I am gone.  I mean it when I say it: I love you guys, and I sure am going to miss you.
